We are a video production agency; coming together to create the work that matters most.

Established in 2016, The Matterworks LLC is a Black-owned, video production agency located in the heart of Culver City, California. We specialize in narrative, commercial work, live music captures and documentary style productions. Led by husband and wife team, Dustin and Tiana Warren, The Matterworks began as community project, launching a week-long fundraiser with friends and family to buy a bulk of black and white composition books during the holiday season. The intention was to share these notebooks with our community: schools, non-profits, organizations, and to inspire value of our word. After partnering directly with Office Depot, in a matter of just one week the project raised enough money to buy over 3500 notebooks! THAT was the beginning of what mattered to us: planting the seeds of self-expression in the lives of our community, and nurturing that self-expression through education, access and resources.

Eventually over time, this small "community project" quickly grew into a full-service video production agency, allowing each of us the ability to do what we loved to do: empowering people to create and fulfill on what matters most to them. Since then The Matterworks has become a staple in the live event and music production community of Los Angeles, working with some of the biggest names and biggest cultural institutions in Los Angeles, and have become the preferred production vendor for institutions such as: The Hollywood Bowl, Walt Disney Concert Hall, The Ford, LA PHIL, LA Public Library, Four Seasons, Sip & Sonder Coffee and more.

Over the years we've done our very best to serve both our friends and our community in a way that best reflects the beauty and the power of our creativity. Our mission is to create the work that matters most; the work that draws us closer together, reflecting our shared values and collective vision for a future we say matters to us all.
